We publish stories to change the lives of women & girls.

We believe in solutions journalism and its power to drive real-world change.

We also believe women and girls too often get sidelined in journalism. And in a world where women’s rights are increasingly under threat, we need their voices and ideas more than ever.

We don't just publish stories; we use them as a catalyst to reshape perceptions and drive lasting change in the lives of women and girls. Keep this in mind when you pitch us: your story has the power to make a difference in a woman’s life.

What kinds of stories do you publish?

More to Her Story is looking for all kinds of journalism. We publish investigative pieces, “day-after” pieces, and breaking news when it aligns with our mission. We publish op-eds and analyses when the subject is relevant to the news cycle. We are especially interested in underreported stories; our focus is not just on what’s making the headlines but on the stories that slip through the cracks of mainstream media.

How does More to Her Story publish?
